Family Comes First
FAMILY COMES FIRST
Being a meeting planner is stressful and as Thanksgiving approaches I thought it would be a great time to give out some great “Tips” on how to show your family and friends how much you love
and appreciate them. Always remember, Family Comes First!
*Advise them without being critical or
judgmental when they ask you for your opinion
*Surprise them once in awhile with an
unexpected gift
*Send “Thinking of You” or “Just Because” notes
or cards when it isn’t their birthday or some
other holiday
*Forgive them when they have wronged you
*Show respectful affection
*Refrain from criticizing or critiquing your family
or friends in public and don’t participate in
gossiping about each other
*Never, ever allow put downs. We all have
enough put downs from strangers, we don’t
need that from family and friends too
*Always be available when your family and
friends need you, pray for them and tell them,
“I’m here for you”
*Keep your promises
*Practice what you preach and if you give
out advice, follow it too
